Delete your Dalooda account

In the app

Open Dalooda and go to Profile.
Scroll to the bottom, under Accessibility.
Tap Close my account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

It takes effect immediately. You are signed out and returned to the sign-in screen.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@dalooda.co.nz from the address on the account and ask us to close it. We will action it within 10 working days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Your name, profile photo and bio
Your suburb and any contact details
Any CV you uploaded
Your business name, if you had one
Your saved payment reference
Your sign-in identity, so the account can no longer be logged into

Your live listings and Showcase posts are taken down at the same time.

What is kept, and why

Records of completed deals — messages, offers and ratings — stay on the account of the other person involved, with your personal details removed. We cannot delete those without destroying someone else's record of a trade they took part in.

We may also keep the minimum required to meet tax and legal obligations. None of it identifies you.

Photos and video

Images and clips you uploaded may remain reachable by direct link for a period after deletion, because they are served from a public media store. They are removed from the app immediately. Ask us at support@dalooda.co.nz if you need a specific file purged.
